| Sept 26, 2010 Pefferlaw Peat Products had the pleasure of hosting the 2nd Annual Achievement Day for the 4-H & Georgina-Brock's - Giant Vegetable Competition Youth group. 20 Youth competed for largest and tallest Giants grown in several categories, the h The youth were able to achieve their goals under the guidance of Norm Craven, and the support of 4H leader Dorothy Shier and assistants Chris and Tracy Shier. Norm is an avid competitor and world record holder of several Giant competitions. We would like to thank all of them for their experience and dedication to the youth and in making this a memorable event. Pefferlaw was proud to donate growth materials in support of this competition and looks forward to hosting next years event. There were over 108 entries in total.
