This was the first time for the Heaviest Squash, Marrow, Field Pumpkin, and Longest Gourd. The members also competed in flowers, arrangements, and other vegetables and pictures. We had 153 entries from 15 exhibitors, exhibiting in 22 different categories. The members ages vary from 5-17. The winners are: Heaviest Pumpkin, 544lbs ! Abbi Shier. Heaviest Squash, 319lbs ! Graham Dumas Tallest Corn 18’4” !Katelynn Crawford. She broke her own record set in 2009 at 17’! Tallest Sunflower 15’ 9 ½” ! Daniel Shier another record breaker for the club - Shelby Bond’s in 2010 at 12’ 3 ½”! Heaviest Tomato 1lb. 15ozs. ! Mitch Fisher Biggest Sunflower Head 25” ! Cordelia Jorritisma Heaviest Carrot 1lb. 51ozs ! Cordelia Jorritisma Heaviest Parsnip .54ozs Abbi Shier Heaviest Marrow 55.1 lbs.
